A red wine, loved and respected throughout the world for its unmistakable characteristics. Deep red in colour, dark almost violet. Distinctive fruity bouquet, very rich with hints of cherries and liquorice. Full-bodied in taste, velvety, warm and fragrant. Goes well with strong tasting meats, roasts and strong flavoured cheese.

VINIFICATION
After a long maceration and fermentation at a checked temperature (max 28° C),the wine is put to sharpen in barrels of oak wood for about 7-8 months.

TASTING NOTES
The Primitivo “Villa Santera” is characterized by an intense purplish red colour. The bouquet is rich in fruity (cherry) and spiced (toasted, tobacco) notes. It is a wine with a full taste, warm and soft.
Suggested to accompany roast of meat, first savoury dishes and seasoned cheeses.
To be served at a temperature of 18-20° C.
